During the eight weekly sessions, we will learn practices that enable us to be more aware of our thoughts, feelings and physical sensations moment by moment, helping us be more in the present, and reducing stress and tension. Between sessions, you will be encouraged to make time for home practice, and learn to bring Mindfulness to everyday activities. There will also be an opportunity for a day-long practice session. The more we practise Mindfulness, the more we get out of it.
Before the course starts, there will be an initial phone conversation or meeting for you to understand more about what the course involves, and to decide whether this is the right moment in your life to take it. Attendance at a Taster evening is strongly recommended.
